The route to Haitzingalm starts in Bad Hofgastein at the Schlossalmbahn valley station. For a slightly shorter ascent, just take the cable car to the middle station. From there, you’ll follow trail H2a, passing by the charming Aeroplanstadl and crossing trail H3. You’ll find yourself on a picturesque forest trail that leads you straight to the cozy Haitzingalm ski hut.

Tip: Consider making a detour to the Kleine Scharte mountain station – it’s the perfect complement to the Haitzingalm tour.
