Skigastein offers unrivaled snow fun for families. Two of the four ski resorts are known for their particularly family-friendly, varied slopes. 56 kilometers of slopes offer something for all ages and skill levels. The ski resort of Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel boasts special practice areas for learning how to ski and for fine-tuning your winter sports skills. At Dorfgastein-Großarltal ski resort, you can find gentle slopes that are ideal for first-timers.
XXL Gasti Snow Park in Bad Hofgastein
Conveniently located between the two ski mountains in the Angertal ski centre, the largest of the three Gasti snow parks offers the perfect stage for anyone venturing onto the slopes for the first time. On a snow surface of more than 10,000 square metres, six conveyor belts, T-bar and rope lifts await the little ones. With a mini fun slope, a mini ski movie trail and a large winter playground, there's plenty of fun to be had in the family ski area as well as learning. As a service plus, there is a ski school and ski hire right on site.
Even more Gasti snow parks, even more skiing fun
The XXL park is complemented by the two practice areas in Bad Gastein and Dorfgastein. In the Gasti Snow Park at the valley station of the Stubnerkogel cable car, you can learn the right ski turns in no time at all. With the help of practice elements and the always cheerful mascot ‘Gasti’ at your side, skiing becomes child's play. Another Gasti snow park at the valley station in the Dorfgastein - Grossarltal ski area awaits little skiers.

- Small children up to 6 years of age (born in 2019 and younger) are generally free of charge in the ski areas.
- With the Ski amadé family promotions, parents and minis can whizz through the snow at extra favourable rates. For example, with the Junior Weekend Bonus, the ski pass for children and teenagers is discounted on Saturday and Sunday.
- During Mini's Week, families stay at participating partner hotels at particularly favourable rates.
- If you book online in advance, you can ski at the early booking bonus rate during the holidays.
