We offer a wide range of accessible activities and facilities, with the aim of providing unique mountain experiences to all guests, including those with disabilities. Following our commitment to accessibility, we continuously strive to improve and adapt our infrastructure.
At Skigastein, people with disabilities benefit from discounted ski tickets. Stubnerkogelbahn cable car and attractions like the suspension bridge, the Glocknerblick viewing platform, and the Fun Center are also accessible during winter. Disabled parking and accessible toilets are available both at the valley and mountain station to make your visit as comfortable as possible. What’s more, our cable car staff is always happy to assist.
In summer, Stubnerkogel opens its doors to everyone. The suspension bridge, the Glocknerblick viewing platform, and the Fun Center are all accessible, offering stunning experiences out in the Alpine nature. The ticket offices at the valley station of Stubnerkogelbahn cable car are fully accessible. If you travel by car, the accessible ticket offices are only a few meters from the parking lot.
The ticket offices at the valley station of Schlossalmbahn cable car are also accessible. Thanks to the available elevators, all floors can easily be reached, no matter by which means you travel.
During summer, Stubnerkogel is a great choice for people with disabilities because the one-of-a-kind suspension bridge is fully accessible. In addition, the Glocknerblick viewing platform and the Fun Center provide unforgettable experiences. If you’re looking for a nice spot for a break, we recommend the summit restaurant.

Unfortunately, “Kleine Scharte” mountain restaurant is not accessible as there are stairs in the entrance area. However, right by the valley station of Schlossalmbahn cable car, the accessible Weitmoserin restaurant is happy to welcome guests with disabilities.
Unfortunately, the Hiking Circuit Days in summer are not suitable for people with disabilities. That’s because Kaserebenbahn cable car is not low-floor, and Senderbahn cable car has some stairs in the entrance area.

If you need a wheelchair for the duration of your stay in the Gastein Valley, you can rent one at the retirement home in Bad Hofgastein. In addition to wheelchairs, they also offer Zimmer frames and crutches for rent. Please contact the retirement home for further information!
