Traveling to Skigastein by bus is easy and comfortable: There is a designated coach parking at the Schlossalmbahn parking lot, which can conveniently be reached via the valley run. Simply hop off the bus and start your hiking or skiing adventure right away!

General provisions and age groups for Skigastein

Before you book a ticket for the cable cars of Gastein, you should know the following:

Individually personalized tickets: All tickets are non-transferable.
Deposit for keycards: For every keycard ticket, you have to pay a deposit of € 3.
Transport of sports equipment: To bring your sports equipment with you on the cable car, you need a special ticket.

With a valid ID, the following age groups apply when purchasing a cable car ticket or ski pass:

Adults: born in 2007 or before
Children: born between 2008 and 2017
Toddlers: born in 2018 or after
Discounts: Persons with a disability ID card (with a documented disability level of 70 % or more) receive a discount on standard ticket prices.
