Whether you choose Stubnerkogel or Fulseck as your take-off spot, you first have to get to the top of the mountain. With the respective cable car ticket, you and your sports equipment can conveniently ride to the top.

Cable cars with sports equipment transport: important information about paragliders, hang gliders, mountain bikes & other gear

Bringing your sports equipment is not allowed on all cable cars. That’s why it’s important to check the respective regulations in advance.

By the way: The same regulations apply to mountain bike enthusiasts. On the following cable cars, it’s allowed to bring your mountain bike.

General provisions and age groups for Skigastein

Before purchasing a ticket for the summer cable cars of Gastein, read the following information:

Individually personalized tickets: All tickets are non-transferable.
Deposit for keycards: For every keycard ticket, you have to pay a deposit of € 3.
Transport of sports equipment: A special ticket is required to bring sports equipment like mountain bikes or paragliders with you on the cable car.

Subject to errors and modifications. All prices in Euro, incl. VAT.

With a valid ID, the following age groups apply when purchasing a ticket:

Adults: born in 2005 or before
Youths: born between 2006 and 2008
Children: born between 2009 and 2018
Toddlers: kids born in 2019 or after
Discounts: Persons with a disability ID card (with a documented disability level of 70 % or more) receive a discount on standard ticket prices.
