An unbeatable offer: Wintersport-Kombiticket for perfect ski days

From 29 November 2024 until 1 Mai 2025, the Austrian Railways offer you a particularly convenient service: an arrival and return ticket to Skigastein that doubles as your ski ticket. The ÖBB combined ticket is the perfect choice for guests who want to travel to the slopes in a sustainable and convenient way. The offer includes an ÖBB economy-class return ticket to Bad Gastein and a voucher for a 1-, 3- or 6-day ski pass. You pick up your ticket on site and hit the slopes.

A convenient extra: With the ÖBB combined ticket, you enjoy a 10 % discount on ski rentals at INTERSPORT Rent. So if you’re still lacking some gear or don’t feel like bringing your heavy equipment onboard the train, you can conveniently rent top-of-the-line winter sports equipment on site.

General provisions for the ÖBB Wintersport-Kombiticket

Validity

During the validity period of your combined ticket, it is valid for any ÖBB train (excluding night trains). There is no fixed departure time. However, once you have started your journey, it has to be completed within 36 hours.

The combined ticket with a one-day ski pass is valid for two days for one outbound and return journey. The combined ticket with a three-day ski pass is valid for five days for one outbound and return journey. The combined ticket with a 6-day ski pass is valid for eight days for one outbound and return journey.

Voucher

Your train ticket doubles as a voucher for your ski pass. Simply swap it for a ski ticket at the ticket office, pay a deposit for the keycard, and hop on the cable car!

Cancellation policy

The combined ticket is fully refunded in case of cancellation before the first day of validity. Tickets cannot be refunded after the start of the validity period. There are also no reimbursements for services that have not been used.
